Do you have rings on your finger or buttons on your shirts? Could also be that they are crowded. Some birds are just curious and peck at everything. Photos would help with the gender question

I specifically don’t wear my rings with them.

I have never been attacked by a rooster using his spurs. I've found the spurs seem to be used more amongst eachother.
I have been pecked a fair few times, several times by nice natured roosters, but mainly by a couple of not so nice lads I had.
None of them ever used their spurs on me.
Yes, that Barred Rock is a cockerel.

He looks to be a roo with that big comb, and he sounds to be a good natured fellow, at least so far. Could u take the aggressive peckers out and take pics of them individualy? Or at least circle them so we could see them?

This is the one that seems to come right towards me and pecks at me. I guess she will be able to hold her own when they are let out.

Not very clear.
I will tentatively say pullet due to not seeing much colour, but I really can't see the comb or the pattern well.
It looks like you ran in to get the photo and had to leg it so as not to get pecked

That just looks like a feisty pullet. Most roosters are good natured fellows, and the whole aggressive persona they have been given is mostly due to the fact you only ever hear about the mean ones, not the nice cuddly ones.

I so agree.
Roosters are so misunderstood.
There are so many nice boys out there.
They're so unselfish & the girls are pigs.
