Does anyone know what the breed standard is for a welsh harlequin drake? I am looking to show mine and I cannot find anything about breed standard. I also would like to know if there is anything I can feed him to give his head more of a green sheen.

The purple/blue wing is the silver fase and the brown wing is the gold fase. The Welsh harlequin comes in these two colors. The silver fase is my favorite also. I have, Welsh harlequins, cayuga, black swedish, buff orpington, and khaki Campbell's

I love the coloring they have, very pretty. Especially the purple wings, purple is my favorite color.

I have five WH hens, all silver phase, which is the breed standard in the US, despite that the same clutch of eggs from the same parents can produce either phase. Color of feet and bill are important, too. Mine aren't show quality. They just provide great eggs and are good-tempered and entertaining to keep.

Do you have any photos that you can post, I would like to see what the silver phase looks like.

So my drake is a silver phase then?
