Breed Standards Info

My kids just signed up in 4H today and they would like to show a chicken but I'm having a hard time finding detailed descriptions of the breed standards (maybe I'm not looking properly). We'd just like to help guide them in picking a nice bird from what we already have. Any advice is appreciated!

the standard of perfection by the American poultry association is the book of choice. I need a copy myself cause I am looking to show some barred rocks next year.

My son is most interested in German Appenzeller Spitzhauben, Buff Polish, White Crested Blue Polish or Phoenix (gold).

Not to sure where you would find a Standard for the Spitzhaubens because there not a APA Standardized breed
