I bought 4 chicks from Rural King that were labeled wrong. The kid running it apparently had no idea what he was talking about because they were all suppose to be pullets and 3 out of the 4 I bought for a backyard coop are males! They are very small black with copper feathers around their necks. About 1/2-3/4 the size of a barred rock. They also have feathers on their feet. Anyone know? Anyone in NE Fla need 3 roosters? Lol. I think they are marans. But are the marans this small?
