Breed???

Anyone know what breed these little ladies are?? Bought from an auction because i felt bad for them, all the combs are really thick and fold over one side of the face one has no feathers on her neck ....

Welcome to BYC. They look like sorely neglected white leghorns. The combs are normal for the breed - the filth they are coated with is not. Well done on rescuing them. You will be rewarded with large white eggs.

Are they gray or is that just dirt on their feathers? If they are white I would say that you have yourself some white leghorns.

Trying to let them settle in before bathing or introducing them to the flock.....sadly they were being called turkens at the auction! Definitely have know clue what there selling obviously! Thank you for the helpful info!!

They are filthy right now! Letting them settle in a little before bathing them. They were in cardboard boxes at the auction so i cant imagine there living conditions!

I would keep those girls quarantined from your flock for awhile before integration. It looks like they are in need of some TLC! Super nice of you to adopt those ladies!!!!

They are by them selves for now. They dont really care for peolpe yet .just went to check on them and one of them laid! The egg is pretty big for such a tiny chicken..
