Breed?

the top one is a black tailed white Japanese bantam and yes the 2nd is a buff cochin bantam
Yes? Nice, they look so pretty. Seems like both I got are not good layers. But that's ok. I'll be happy for the variety!

She came from sexlinked batch. I know that's only 90% but... sorry but I'm going to hope you're wrong :)-cause he'll have to be rehomed if he's a he.

Well, if done correctly, Sex links are 100%. Its being done correctly that's the kicker. You have to have the right male over the right female to get it right. Mix it up, and you don't have sex links.
If this is a sex link, what was the mix?

Yes it was from a bantam sex linked mix. She showed me in their booklet what breeds may be included, but I dont remember them all, there were5 or 6 possibilities I think.

I don't think there are any sexlinked bantams. I've never even heard of anybody breeding them 5 or 6 different ones. Sure they weren't sexed bantams and not sexlinked bantams?

Nope, just know what the sign said, it could have been wrong. First (and hopefully last) time buying chicks. Time will tell for sure I guess, but I'm going with black tailed Japanese and a cochin for now, hoping they are female. I also have a sikie that my hen incubated and hatched herself, same age. Attaching a pic of all 3.
