Breed?

Maybe too young to tell, but wondering what breed this 3-4 week chick I just got is. It was supposed to be a Golden Laced Wyandotte, but that seems to be the wrong kind of comb. Also kinda a huge comb for what was supposed to be a pullets.

Oh wow, definitely a big comb! At that point I would assume male, but you never really know until they're about 1,2 months old. Where did you get them? The only other chick I could think of that has a similar chick color is a barnevelder, but the photo is a bit unclear

That’s a huge comb!! It’s probably a male. I have seen many GLWs have single combs from hatcheries.

It may be male. There can be misleads with vent sexing even from experts.

Gold Laced Wyandotte w/incorrect comb "common with hatchery Wyandottes". You've undoubtedly got a cockerel there.

It's a cockerel.
It does look a bit like a GLW. Maybe he's just hatchery quality. Feet colour is wrong and comb is wrong.
