Hi all,
We’re new to raising chicks/chickens and wanted buff orpingtons as our first pets. Just wanting some thoughts on this chick with dark feathers, is it a Buff Orpington? Is it normal for them to have dark spots on their wings or will they grow out buff wings? The seller we bought from had many different breeds of chicks in one brooder with tags on their legs so we thought maybe she gave us the wrong breed. We were also told they are both hens

BO do occasionally get some speckling, that usually grows out, but that seems like rather too much to be pure BO. It is speckling like how Buff Orpington get it, and the chick does seem Buff Orpington. Foot colour is correct, and the face  also seems BO.
Wait and see how she feathers out.

#2 I'm pretty sure is a buff Orpington, but I'm not sure on #1.

She also has abit of speckling on her tail feather too. I’m hoping it all grows out and she’ll be a darker coloured BO. I guess we’ll have to wait and see, I’ll update as she grows☺️ Thanks everyone for your help! Much appreciated
