Breed???

I have a similar cart at Meyer!😬
I have 5 and 6 week olds I'm still integrating and eggs in the incubator . . .once the eggs hatch my 'I have room notion' will go away, but I'm also thinking, by the time the hatchery chicks get here I'll be able to put them with the incubator chicks which are due to hatch this weekend. :barnie

I don't even want to think about what I'll do when I get my incubator in the spring...

I'll see how many of the 22 eggs make it through the hatch before ordering more, if the number drops below 15, then all bets are off, lol. I'll be placing that order.

Again . . just realizing this isn't my thread and I have a run to build and chicks to set up for. The weather is finally cool enough, so I have no excuse not to get it done now.

Yes, I'm very sorry @wolfinator for hijacking your thread!!

They're beautiful! And the RK employee told you 4 weeks? Lol can you imagine bins full of 4 week old chicks inside the store? 😬 My first bantam group is 4 weeks now, and man can they fly! That would be a thing to witness for sure. The RK employee who sold me my bantams thought bantam was a breed on its own. So there's that.

Congrats on all your beautiful birds! I bet you'll end up with some stunners as you hatch out chicks.
Here's a few as to how they look now. My older cinnamon queen I got from Rural King 1st was found dead the next day, 17 hours after I moved them into their own 4'Ɨ8' coop. It seems she was jumping around testing her wings and possibly struck her head on the roost or roof rafter based on her extended wings and legs, like she was flying.

This young man is the same one in the next photo. Huge transformation of colors. He still has the whitish gray feathers under his beak. He started crowing around 7-8 weeks old.

These are the 2 smallest, they're both Silkie Eggers. White one is a female, black one I think is too, just not 100% sure yet.

Nice green sheen in bright light, not cooperative enough to see the face - looked down as I snapped photo. This one has a little attitude at times.
