Breed?

I do no think the bird is pure asil either, but its got a heavy oriental overtone to it. As for EE...not a chance. Game fowl come with legs of all different leg colors and varieties. There is nothing about this bird that would indicate EE. Tight feathered, heavy build (muscular) with a stout Oriental head.

Here is an Asil female's head. I am thinking that your bird has a cushion comb, not a pea like the asil.

Which from what I see leaves Chantecler, and Kreinkoppkie.

I agree with the game part...but it does look to me like a cross. To me the color pattern does not match the Asil but seem to match the Chantecler better except that nice long tail.

Just for everyone knowledge, Asil do not necessarily conform to any certain color pattern or variety. They come in just about as many different variations as OEGB, if not more. Also, I do not think that Chantecler fall into the "game" category.

OK!
Just because a bird has Blue or Green legs doesn't make it a EE or Araucanas.
There are others birds with that leg color. American Game can come with White, Yellow, Blue, Green, Black and any combination or shade of those colors.
All so some game strains do come bearded.
I see no EE ( Easter Egger ) in that bird.

Now the OP's bird looks like a Oriental cross like others have said. The OP all so said
Was supposed to be a Gold Lace Wyandotte

so it could be a Oriental/ Gold Lace Wyandotte cross. That could give you that small strawberry type comb.

For what I have read the Chantecler is considered dual-purpose. It does though look a little game like, more so then most daul-purpose breeds. They are said to have Dark Cornish in their blood, so that could be why.

One of five base breeds used were Cornish (indian game), but I hardly think that constitutes a game bird. I really thing the Indian game was used in them to increase productivity in the winter months.
