breed?

These (hopefully) girls are about ten weeks old. They were supposed to be RIR but they look light to me. Any thoughts?

THey look like production reds to me. Similar to RIR, but lighter in color and bred more for egg production rather than type.

Probably hatchery RIR's , or production reds....ie generic red layers.

And they do both look like girls. The boys usually aren't too shy!

so far look like pullets repost when they reach 15 weeks and we can tell you for sure on their gender
