What breed is this rooster? And why are his ear lobes so white? I'm new to chickens, but haven't seen lobes this big and white. Thanks!

He's a Light-Brown Leghorn rooster. The white earlobes are a normal (and desired when showing) characteristic of the breed.

Yes, he's a Light Brown Leghorn. Its normal for a Leghorn to have those large white earlobes.

What they said. The hen in the first pic is his mate, a brown leghorn hen. White earlobes are (usually) tied to the white shells, so birds with white lobes (usually) lay white eggs. Of course, he's not laying any eggs, but his mate should be giving you nice white eggs.
