breeders and hatcheries n Washington

I actually have 2 big beautiful and semi-friendly SLW roo that we plan to butcher next week because we just have too many Roos. One has the single comb that is not ideal, and the other has the classic rose comb.
They came from Dunlap hatchery but the lacing on their chest is exquisite. I live in a town in WA about 4.5 hrs from Enumclaw.

I just got two Lavender Orpington pullets from the Bradley Farm! They do take while to reply. But they have some really nice chickens! Its worth the wait!

Hi there, fire pirate, I'm so happy to see all the other chicken poeple in WA! I'm in Olympia. There's tons of small farm websites that are to many to name around here if you just type in chicks, chickens, or small farm or something like that...I was suprized!
Craigslist sure is great, though. I found some really high quality blue and black Orpingtons there that I going to buy some chicks from this spring. It's super handy because you can find your local stuff easily, AND alot of the nearby show breeders sell their stock there too. I also heard a rumor about local poultry auctions, though I've never gone to one.
Good luck finding the perfect chicken!

Fire pirate- what am I saying? I had a moment of my dh egging me on. If you are willing to drive 4.5 hrs the rooster is yours. I will be doing rooster butchering within a week so let me know.
I will try to post a pic. Today he came right up to me to look for treats.
