Well, it won't be long until you see eggs. One thing my turkey hen did, is she would sit in front of me. Everywhere I went, she would just sort of sit down, as if she was in a nest, right near me. She was always getting in my way and I would often have to move her if I was raking the sand in the run or something. LOL She would fan her wing feathers out slightly behind her too. She was doing this because she "likes me" and wanted me to be her Tom. But hey, I'm not into that! haha
Anyhow, it wasn't long after I saw this setting behavior, and her and the tom mating, that she layed her first eggs. I believe it was a matter of a week or two. My husband made my chicken nest boxes so large, that she just layed her eggs right with the hens.
The tom was very clumsy. I do think it takes practice. He would stand on her, and sort of march on her back. What a clumsy oaf! LOL But he was gorgous.
