They are scheduled to arrive on the 15th. I did not research the seller before buying because i did not know i was getting them. My mom knows how badly i wanted them and bought them for me. I like all the colors but the white are beautiful! I have one turken hen in my flock and she is a sweetie.
I have my turken roo and while he's a great protector of the hens, he's a little....well, let's just say I'm planning to replace him.....lol He tries to go after my son every time he sees him. He tried it with me but found out real fast it wouldn't fly....but he would...lol. Now my nn/ee hen. She is the most lovable (and homely) thing....lol. I ended up with 5 nns out of this last hatch. One from my silkie hen. It has the 5 toes, but yellow skin. I am hoping that it is a male because it will be my replacement for the roo I have now. I just can't wait until they feather in so I can see what I have for colors...lol.

I had a NN Roo. He was sickly since he hatched. He lived about 4 months and hardly grow after 2months. But he was sweet. He would sit on my lap and eat warm oatmeal. He would walk right up the stairs in to the house if we didn't pay attention. One time we found him in the house and had no clue how he got their. Lol

My broody was walking out in the yard today with the chick I gave her and two others. Looks like she had three out of thirteen hatch and one died. I dont think that is bad for a first time mamma. She is proud of her three little babies. I will try to get pictures later today.

Hey guys.. I don't know how many times I've told this story on here but my incubator turned off the other day for about an hour! I had three possible chicks out of, I think seven. Although two of them seem to be fine and growing, one of them hasn't grown at all in about a week and it's seems very floppy and lifeless, I guess..

the veins around also seem loose?! I don't know if anyone else has ever experienced this.. I just want the other chicks to get as much heat as possible!! I need to know ASAP!!

I was away for a week and came home to babies that exploded in size. My favorite in terms of personality and looks is a SFH x SF mix. She's so cute! I think it's an awesome mix so far! I have a Black Australorp that just went broody and I letting her sit on more SFH x SF eggs.

Her siblings are also really cute, particularly a SFH x SF cockerel that's developing a snow leopard coloring, and a pair of backyard Favacaunas (Lavender Ameraucana x SF), which so far are looking female.

Thanks guys. Next year I will have my showgirls if I have to drive to another state to get me some eggs....lol  Poult you can come get my roo and make lots of little ones...lol I want to replace him with one of these little ones next year. He likes to go after my son.  Me, not so much. He learned his lesson there, but other people...fair game in his book..lol  He's wicked protective of the girls though, which is a good thing.  One of the baby nn's is from my silkie hen. He has the yellow skin from daddy, but he has the 5 toes. I'm hoping that one is a roo, and he will be my replacement.  The other four nn's are from my nn/ee hen

Haven't been on in awhile. .-. My internet and life 9-9 How are the lil ones now? Haha no thanks! I have enough roosters to deal with driving me nuts with all the attitude running around  That's good he's a protector that's what their meant for although not all are very good at it!

Babies here are doing great. Feathering fast. Got the second coop done and the Juvies finally went out. Even my special needs roo is in the Juvie coop. I'm done for this year...lol
