Breeding Bantams with Standards

Can a Banti and a standard size chicken mate and have eggs to hatch successfully?

Mine have... I have 1 that is almost 3 months old and 4 younger ones (2-1 month olds).

We have only had one egg successfully hatch and I was wondering if it had to do with our bantams and standards crossing.

Do they look like bantams or standards? and can you sex link them?
