Thanks for all your help:D

Adult Brine Shrimp that you would feed to Adult Bettas are about 100x too big for a frys' little mouth. Fry need newly hatched, Baby brine shrimp. Thus why you have to get the eggs and hatch them out.

Have fun

ok I was planing on bying some hatching eggs I think they are only $5.00 or a littel bit more but its ok with me. Do you now any where els I could look for cheper or beter?

I agree that the male probably did not eat the eggs. Most likely they fell to the bottom of the tank and got lost in the gravel. When breeding bettas, it's best to have a bare-bottomed tank to make it easier for the male to find any stray eggs or babies.

I would try to hatch a couple test batched to make sure you are able to hatch them. Some people just can not hatch them. Most eggs you buy in the pet stores are also older eggs and they take a bit more work to hatch. I usually have 2-3 cultures of baby brine shrimp hatching a week to feel my larva and noticed batter hatch rates with fresher eggs.

Also when it come to doing anything cheAper not always the best way to go. Do a little more research before you try again.

Fruit flies are a great source of protein for the adults to help get them into good breeding condition.

Has anyone mentiond the water level in the tank yet? having a full tank makes it a long long swim for him to bring the eggs that fall out of the nest back up again. I think 4 -6 inches of water is best.
Then you will have to wait until he rebuilds his bubble nest before trying again.
