Breeding blr wyandottes

Is it my understanding if you breed a splash red wyandotte roo to a blue laced red wyandotte hen you will get 100% blrw?

No. Splash x blue results in 50% splash, 50% blue. Splash crossed to black results in 100% blue offspring.

So why don't hatcheries and breeders you a splash roo over black laced red wyandottes to have 100% blue laced red wyandottes in stead of mix black blue and splash?

Because you get better lacing from breeding two blue laced reds together
