Yeah, I have some RC Brown Leghrons right now, there are just a little hobby. I was just using them ot produce pullets for a little income. The CBL aren of no quality, they are hatchery birds.

I made a small mating of this male onto SC Buff Lghorn hens and I have a few RC Buff offspring. This is a totally different line that I will see how it behaves in regard to fertility. It is Walnut comb x single comb.

This bird was of the old pure line of RCBuff Leghorns.I suspect it might have had Buff Wyandotte blood as the original source of Rose Comb.

Hello All,

I have some new pictures of my F1 Buff Leghorn Bantam x Buff Dutch Bantam.
I make this out cross to improve the Buff Leghorn Bantams

Arie,
Those pullets are nice looking. The males are too and I think it's interesting that the females seem to have carried over more of the Leghorn type where the males are showing the Dutch characteristic of the lower wing carriage. The males look like they have nice lobe color. All in all, it looks like a successful cross. I'll be interested to see how the back crosses to Leghorns turns out. Those pullets will be worth their weight in gold in providing a good foundation for color. I bet they have real nice undercolor too. IMO good sound undercolor lends nicely to even top color and does wonders for eliminating white in wings and tails.

Tom
