Breeding Buff Leghorns

Broody leghorn is almost an oxymoron.

Anybody else know how often these buffs will go broody compared with other leghorns?

I seem to have a percentage (maybe 5%)that go broody,but very rarely do I let them set and raise chicks,so I do not know how good they are at the job.

We have six new buff leghorn additions that hatched yesterday! All healthy and vigorous

Hi Dan, those hens looks very nice.

Today was hatching day in Goirle (The Netherlands) and I have some pictures I want to share with you all.
These F1 broody hens have F2 chicks That come from Pure Buff Leghorn Bantam male x F1 Buff hens from the cross between Buff Leghorn Bantam male x Buff Dutch Bantam hens.
