No, you don't have to answer the question here. But what you will do using the son is change the coefficient of inbreeding involved.

Hi Shanty,
The gene pool for this strain is less than a dozen birds. There is plenty of diversity if they are bred wisely.
That is why I am asking about the COI. I justw ant to use the fiversity as wisely as possible.
