I have one heavy mixed breed turkey hen sitting on 15 eggs. She took the breeding okay from the rather heavy Royal Palm tom. The problem is with my Royal Palm hen as she is a real "light" weight and getting pretty well torn up. Yes, I do know about buying saddles but have heard more negative comments than good ones. My question is .....how often must a cock bird breed a hen to produce fertile eggs.............once a day......every other day........or maybe even every 3 days?
