BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

So amazingly, a large mug of hot coffee and a laptop computer are NOT compatible. When I break something, I really break it. My amazing husband surprised me by buying me a new laptop, but I've got more than four years of data on the old one, including ALL of my data on my chickens. I'm desperately hoping our favorite computer expert can somehow retrieve the data. Being a natural-born klutz is hard.

I AM SO SORRY

. It is really hard to lose that valuable information. I hope your friend can retrieve it for you. I just had my computer fry on 1/16/16, so for our 34th wedding anniversary(same day) we went to Best Buy and bought a new one. It took the Geeks three days to download my data from the other computer. They said they had never seen so much stuff. It's why I get a computer with at least one terabyte!

I hope everything is better soon.

Hey, HB...you know those animals that the DNR denies are existing in WV?

Here's one caught on a game cam in Webster County....nice buck, too!

That looks like a good sized cat. I've seen one and Jason has seen a couple of them, all likely smaller than that. You know Randolph and Webster counties....still have some very remote areas. They could hide a herd of elephants here for a while and if the elephants didn't want to be seen...they wouldn't be seen....at least not very often. DNR lies...They brought a bunch of coyotes in here a few years back and have lied about it ever since.

I do every time. Six bantam hens and 4 large fowl are currently finishing their broods within 21 days. One hen got 12 eggs today. I have chicks hatching today and tomorrow.

I like this idea!!  :gig

Yes, I never waste a broody hen.

Yeah...even after drying it out it won't even turn on. It's not just the battery either because plugging it in didn't even illuminate the indicator light. I'm taking it to the professionals tomorrow and keeping my fingers crossed. :fl

@Fire Ant Farm
 I hope your foot feels better soon. I can totally empathize. I've had chronic problems with my right foot for a couple years now. The Dr. wanted to perform surgery on my leg in three places to "fix" it, but I declined. Sometimes their "cure" is worse than the condition itself.

Boy! Can I empathize. I'm in a walking boot for a tribula anterior tendinitis...for the next three weeks with anti-inflammatory. I have an MRI next week. Doing chores in the barn and pens means wearing a heavy plastic bag over the boot.

That is cool to get that on a trail cam.... DNR statements "Photoshopped!".. LOL I know it is real...

Oh no you don't.  Ever been stalked by one? We have some friends of friends that have been, they promptly shot it. But it almost got them first, and I'm not kidding!!!

On the bright side I bet there are less dogs running around with cats that big in the area
Better them lions then polar bears they have been coming south a lot lately looking for food and not much stops those things
