BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

I do have a lot of pain but it's in my knees and tibias/fibulas.

Ouch! Arthritis? Or something more serious?

Have you ever tried infrared/laser therapy? Our vet tried out the treatment on my husband when they first purchased the equipment since animals can't give actual feedback and humans can. It worked wonders on his bad joints. We've been talking about buying one of those "Willow Curves" in the hope of being able to treat our aches and pains here at home. Neither of us likes taking medication, but pain is pain, and who wants to live in pain?

The Dutch Rondeel egg laying system: Yes commercial egg production can be humane.

And the Germans have banned live chick shredding:

Just the words "live chick shredding" makes me shudder.

I think it's best to call it what it is, cloaking nasty things in euphemisms just makes them go on unnoticed or unremarked. The best part of this, is that it's very early stage incubation eggs that get tossed and they are used in other feeds not wasted. Now if there was a way to have hens lay only female eggs, that would be even better, but this is a major achievement. Congratulations to everyone who made it happen!

Chaga mushroom?

Chaga helps with arthritis, and much more. There has been many medical studies on it.
Most powerful superfood on Earth.
I figured why not, can't hurt, might counter benefit all my bad habits Lol!
I found out about it reading on a website I plan on ordering Shiitake, Oyster, Miatake, and Chicken of the woods mushroom plugs to grow on oak logs this spring. Miatake and chicken of the woods grow wild here, and I found Chaga and another medicinal mushroom Reishi.
Chaga can be bought online ground for tea. I ground up the one I found, doesn't taste like fungus, tastes like a mild tea, it's good.
There is a area in Siberia where they have been drinking it for hundreds of yrs, virtually zero occurrences of cancer or tumors in that area.
