Question, many of you have had dark cornish, they threw in a extra chick. It's a chipmunk chick, I've had both Welsummers and brownleghorns, looks like a cockerel welsummer to me, didn't realize dark cornish are chipmunks also..what's the visual difference between the two?
Hmmm..... well whatever he is, he's a cutie! That chicks looks eb to me, not e+- looks a bit gold laced wyandotte-ish , maybe............ but not if you can see a straight line of bumps on the comb.@CanadianBuckeye , hmmpff...Thanks, didn't think of the comb this small. I was hoping dc, I see straight bumps, not as pronounced as the nn but there nonetheless. Looks like a wellie cockerel to me like I first thought, just was wishful thinking.
I just got rid of a copper maran rooster and it would rub against my leg like a cat. All it needed was to purr and grow a cat tail. It was very nice. I got rid of it as I didnt have a hen.Copper Marans ???![]()
