BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

That movie traumatized the whole nation and may be the whole world. I haven't so much as stuck one toe in salt water since I saw it and I was just a bit older than a kid! I know it's irrational and the fishes aren't any more dangerous than when I truly was a kid and would go to the Maryland and Jersey shores, swim out just far enough to get the lifeguards waving and screaming.

I would feel things rub up against me or get a bump...assuming it was at worst, a sand shark...

NEVER SINCE AND NEVER AGAIN !!!!!!!!

Jaws was not too scary for me. I watched it with friends while in High School--They laughed--there may have been canibus involved. Not me though. I was never into that.

I dunno. We jumped off the carrier and swam in the North Arabian Sea. They had the guns ready in the evnt of sharks. They also warned us about sea snakes, jellyfish and sea wasps.

The fiance and I both work on wind turbines. I've seen how often things catch fire in substations. I don't have much faith in the grid.

And large transformers are 5-10 years on backorder. The company I worked for had waited seven years to get their replacement transformer. While in transit to the facility, a transformer fire occurred in Phoenix, knocking out two of them. That was a rapid re-direct, and back on the waiting list. The guy who lives across the street from me owns one of the few companies that manufactures the big transformers. He told us the waiting list is a mile long, they can pretty much charge as much money as they want for them, and they moved the manufacturing plant down to Mexico to take advantage of cheap labor and tax breaks.
