BREEDING FOR PRODUCTION...EGGS AND OR MEAT.

Thanks for asking...I think I had fun but mostly I had pains in the butt. The poultry I was discussing did not come from Brasil but is coming from another state of the US...should be USPS'd out a week from this coming Monday.

EDIT: From the welcome back, I believe the breeder will be as glad to ship them off as I will be to get them...

You think you had fun? If you can't fully recall then your experience must have been epic. Should I begin searching the web for videos of your antics?

I'm glad you guys made it back safely. Maybe a good masseuse can help you get rid of those pains in your gluteus maximus?

I do have a lot of pain but it's in my knees and tibias/fibulas.

does anyone know why my baby chick is chirping so much it's just the one they have a heat lamp and it's a 101 degrees in there under it they have food and fresh clean water they have a canning jar in there in its side for them to play in but I caught the one that's chirping at the top of his lungs jumping up at the heat lamp like he is trying to lay down on the reflector thing on the heat lamp like she is cold they are both pullets

That happens sometimes. I think they just want you to hold them because they stop chirping when you pick them up.

What I do with chicks like that, after making sure that they have food, water, correct heat and no pasty butt, is give them a drop of poly vi sol without iron on their beak. Not more than twice a day though.

It might be that the chick imprinted on you!

Thanks though mostly they say they don't but mine follow me around the house when I let them out of there brooder they just have to stay on the hardwoods so it's easy to clean up no big deal then instead of on the floor with a bucket of water and scrub I the poo out of the carpet

Some baby pics just b/c. Only 1 chick didn't make it out of icu, it died before interventions were done, never got strong enough for interventions.
