The Pekin duck I butchered out had a beef texture, but I thought it tasted more like a rich dark meat chicken. The goose though was almost totally identical to beef.

Speaking of mad science projects...
One of the most delicious looking science projects I've seen. Haha
If you would like to replicate the experiment:I've seen this, I think it's a hoax- I see no evidence of sterile technique. It's tough enough to hatch whole eggs that have been mishandled. They might have been able to keep the embryo alive for a few days but I really, really doubt they hatched any chicks. Just my Canadian dollar (worth about US 2 cents).

A Novel Shell-less Culture System for Chick Embryos Using a Plastic Film as Culture Vessels
Hmmmm..........thanks, interesting, but still skeptical.........published paper and all. I'd like to see if anyone else can replicate this. 8/14 eggs hatching from grocery store eggs cracked like you're making an omlette into a plastic cup- ????Really?
I know it's been done before, it's not the procedure I doubt, but I'd like to see this tried using the exact same technique the high school students use in the video. That's what I think is fake. And, their hatch rate sounds just a little too good even with good, sterile techniques.
If so, I'd really like to know what the $#%@ courier companies are doing to our hatching egg boxes marked "Fragile".
No worries here......... "Quelques arpents de neige."![]()
Le LOL!!!
Mais oui. Un peu.
(What's that box thingie???)
