While I searched for Chantelers in the meat bird section at hatcheries, so far I only found one that has them there.. made me 'laugh like a chicken"
.I seen at a different hatchery kosher kings..anyone know anything about them? I was looking at the cross that made them.

Did a weighing of the Sulm boys today. The smallest cockerel is 4lbs 5 oz. with his largest companion being 5lbs 5oz. We received these chicks on October 12th.
Here's the biggest boy, we're definitely keeping him. His name is Red.
I'll say this about Sulms. If I could order JUST cockerels, I would. They're beautiful and docile boys with minimal in-group fighting (although there is some instigated by the turkey...) but the egg-production? Completely un-sustainable. Not only do the pullets grow slower, but they're not very good producers. I'll update you guys when I have the courage to actually process one of them since I have grown quite fond of them...(where as the BSLs have already been fried in waffle batter.... yum...
)

Nice looking bird
I am really, really happy with the progress of my last two hatches, and downright shocked to have discovered that one of my Silver Grey Dorking cockerels has now beat out his NN and hybrid brothers to top the size charts. That said, all three boys are still racing neck-and-neck to be the biggest boy of all.
First, Andres (the Giant) who continues to dazzle me with his beauty and amazingly calm, friendly temperament.
He weighed in at 5.23 lbs @ 14 weeks and has shown the largest growth rate since hate, coming in at a whopping 7116.4%!
And now Lenny, who grows a little more spectacular in color every day. His body is not nearly as well muscled at Andres', but his size and disposition are still pretty great.
He weighed in at 5.24 lbs @ 14 weeks with a 5282.8% growth rate since hatch.
And now my surprise boy, Squiqqy, the dominant cockerel in the flock. His crooked toes had me concerned about breeding him with the SGD girls, but I'm still going to try it because he's GORGEOUS and has a friendly, but still independent personality. He weighed in at 5.35 lbs @ 14 weeks with a 5799.3% growth rate since hatch.
And last, my little SGD cockerel, Wesley. He's developing much more slowly than his big brother, but I'm withholding judgement until he's at least 20 weeks old since SGDs are traditionally a slow-maturing breed. He's very sweet and downright snuggly and exceptionally attentive to the pullets. He has the makings of a great rooster if he fills out as expected, but for now is a bit small, weighing in at 4.23 lbs @ 14 weeks with a 5893.8% growth rate since hatch.
And finally, my obsessively affectionate, can't stay away from me SGD pullet, Celine. Seriously, this girl would probably live in the house with me if I let her. I'm amazed I managed to keep her at a far enough distance to even get this photo. She weighed in at 3.12 lbs @ 14 weeks with a 4065% growth rate.
Can you see the humor in her eye? She jumped onto my shoulder immediately after I snapped the photo.

Those SGD are STUNNERS! Glad to hear the boys are fulfilling your expectations! And those cockerels are gorgeous too!
