Breeding help

i have a splash polish and i would like to breed out the crest and maybe change the egg color to brown. How many generations would it take to breed out a crest? and can you breed in a new egg color? if so how long will it take?

Why not just go for a breed that already has no crest and a brown egg, like a splash Wyandotte?

because i already have wyandottes and i want it to be smaller like a polish

Aren't there any bantam breeds you'd like. I believe there is a bantam Wyantdotte.
Had a guy in Practical Poultry mag , that created a new breed. Took him 17 years. You got that long?

Oh and if you do decide to breed for this bird, can you submit a drawing of what your looking for? Cuz I may be dead by the time you get a real bird.

Yeah i have 2 japanese bantams and 3 golden sebrights. i just think it would be neat to make my own breed and make it breed pure.
