Are anybody else's pigeons breeding right now? One pair laid their eggs when it was -10° out!!! I have a few other pairs nesting right now too. Is this part of their normal season?!

Valentines Day is a fairly regular date for pigeons to start breeding. I have two pair on eggs as we speak and should be hatching in a perfect world in a few more days. I had one pigeon lay an egg near the feed trough and abandon it (must have been her first experience). It should warm up enough to allow the squabs to survive.

I have used this when I had squabs hatch around Christmas last year.

I have pair that build a nest in the corner of the loft and on Saturday i noticed that they have 2 little squabs and on Sunday it went down to -34 again and they are doing good.I moved my other birds to the new loft on Saturday and left the tow alone with the new family and they are so proud,Papa show king is strutting around like a king.

dollar stores 2 bucks I tuck all they had the other day.mi birds have 2 nestting bowls per pair and they find other places to nest.

I had one pair use their usual nesting box, one pair lay their eggs and not start brooding so I put their eggs under the other two pairs, and I had one pair nest under a slanted board, their usual spot. The temperature rose dramatically! It's around 27 right now!
