Breeding mixed varieties

I've had chickens for a few years now but just recently got an incubator and started hatching. We have about 30 chickens and many breeds and varieties. My daughter just finished her first fair and did very well with her buff laced polish and speckled sussex. Now she wants to start breeding pure bred chickens. This is where my questions arise.

We have all 3 brahma varieties but only a light rooster. What will the results be if I breed him to our buff and darks?

Same goes for polish. Only the buff laced pullet she took to fair is old enough (for me) to sex but we have gold laced, silver laced, white crested blues and blacks that were all straight run.

When they come of age if say I breed I breed a silver laced to a gold laced or a white crested blue to a white crested black will I get chicks of both varieties on some sort of dilute?

Thanks in advance!

I breed pure (heritage) birds. I do not cross line to keep my lines pure. Most fairs allow birds from crossed breeds but actual poultry shows don't. My signature has the breeds I work with. I do show my birds at poultry shows. I have experimented in the past with some cross breeding. Hopefully those that have done more will post. Good luck and have fun...
