Breeding my black sex link rooster with barred rock hens

Curious if were to hatch chicks from out barred rock hens bred by our black sex rooster would we end up with black sex links ? Or would it just be a barnyard mix?

We also have a deleware,golden orpington and either a barnyard mix or a RIR.

Any help appreciated!!

No, you wouldn’t get sexlinked chicks. A black sex link is a non barred rooster bred to a barred hen. Do you have any other roosters?

Would you be able to sex the chicks since the rooster is a sex link but the hens are barred ? Or would I need a full breed RIR rooster to accomplish that

No, you wouldn’t be able to sex the chicks from their head spots. You don’t have to use a RIR rooster, just one that isn’t barred.
