My "Thundering Horde" never fails to make me laugh out loud. These are the 21 black chicks I got from Cackle on July 1. Some are Ameraucanas, some Australorps, and they never hold still long enough for me to see who's what. When one spots a bug they all go running like old ladies who've heard there's an appliance sale at Macy's - full out, heads down, necks outstretched, legs churning, skirts flapping in the breeze. Then one yells she found a better bug the other direction, and off they all go, full sprint the other way. I laugh so hard my belly hurts.
