Do I have to have heritage parents to get red and black sex link chicks?

I don't know what you mean by"heritage", that can mean different things to different people. What you need to know is enough about the genetics of the parents to know they have the right stuff.

Could you explain what you have or are working with so hopefully I can give you a better answer.

They all came from online hatcheries is that ok? Will they breed correct offspring?
