breeding my rooster with a friends hen

Is it healthy to let my rooster breed with my friends hen? She wants to bring her hen to my coop and try to fertilize her chicken. I have 22 other hens and 1 other rooster and I am concerned about disease and the upset of my flock in general. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I think your right to be a bit worried. Also, whose to say that the roo will prefer this hen and then, it will only lay one egg a day to collect. Could she just hatch some of your eggs?

This would be ok if you had a seperate breeding pen and knew for sure that her hen is totally healthy. There is know way I would allow the strange hen to upset the flock and cause trouble in the hen house.
Sometimes it just isn't a good option.
