Okay..... I have 24 silkie chicks from some awesome silkie breeders. I want to set up breeding pens for them so I can breed and show them. I have one 8X10 coop and a 6X8 run. I plant on dividing it up into three sections; 2 7X3 breeding pens and 1 2X7 grow out pen with a 6X8 run attached. Or I could split the two breeding pens into 4 3X3 breeding pens. Do you understand? I have the plans but its a PDF file so I cant upload it here. If you want to see my plans, just give me your email. If you have any more better ideas on how I should split the coop up, please let me know. I dont know what I am doing yet! ughhh Whats the smallest amount of space I can put a pair of bantam silkies in? I am a horrible designer lol

My pairs or trios are generally in 3x3 or 3x4--I am not really sure on dimensions. Silkies do not need much room. I divided those pens up so I could seperate roosters, my actual breeding pens are like I dunno, 3 1/2' x 10' long? I am guessing, but anyway, I have some divided in half , just big enough to hold a trio and a food bowl and gallow waterer.

Here is a pic of half the pen. One half has the outside run (so I put more than atrio in there) the other half does not.
