Me too!!! I want more chickens! But all my cages and clutch hutches are full with new chickens that are in quartine <----- (sp?) for another 3 weeks.

I am looking for Jap Bantam pullets for my 2 Jap cockerals.

The entire pen is 8' by 2' with two 4 by 2 breeding pens. I made it where the divider in the center can slide out. I am wanting to finish bracing the leggs and add wheels to make it moveable.

I also put coated pvc wire in for floors, but stapled it to the bottom of the cage so there are no boards for the birds to poop on. I built it for my quail but it would work for bantams too.

Thanks to you both for posting these pics. Canepole, I have a crate coop that looks just like yours. I'm wondering how long do you leave them in there? Do you let them out into their own enclosed outside pen? Or can you let them free range with the rest of your birds?
