I am trying to separate my chickens into breeding pens. I have a trio of bantams in the brooder box. I have an Easter egger rooster with 3 hens in the puppy pen with poultry netting on top. I am putting an orpington trio in the round pen with the tarp. Does anyone see any problems with these? Is there enough room in each pen for breeding to occur? Any other problems anyonr can see woth my set up?

Agreed. Those are not large enough for the birds to live in permanently. I'm not even sure I'd keep just the roosters in them. The largest of them might be appropriate for the bantam trio to reside in permanently with opportunities to free-range. But the Orpingtons and EE breeding pen needs to be much larger. Like at least 10 x 10 feet to give them adequate room.

Big enough to breed, maybe, but I wouldn't keep them in there for the 4 weeks the hens need to 'clear'.
Keep the cocks in those for the 4 weeks, then add the hens you want bred.
