IM BACK YES.... Nothing has been happening, exciting at least so I guess I was to bored to post...lol. Good news, Bad news. Lost our last banty rooster. R.I.P. Rocky... but I am doing a test to see if our silkie goes broody, so far so good. She wasn't quite sure, Gave her a clutch of seven eggs from today. Lets see where it takes us.

Well its day 2 of my broody test and our, silkie is broody. She added one of her own to the clutch

Now eight eggs. Im hoping, that someway somehow our little Rocky fertilized one of the eggs and a little Jr. Rocky hatches, prob wont. Chick are due Jan. 10 so im excited. Plzz don't leave the nest.

Im so excited, and its only day two. I can't believe it, I made a hen go broody, and she has eight eggs ahhhh

. So impatient. Somehow Someway i will try to make myself not excited

be sure to mark those eggs and only keep those with her. that will give those eggs the best chance.

no but thats the thing ok i need some picks shes in the barns hallway in a box by herself shes secluded from the group for a reason. Cause every night shes been going into her box, in the group pen and setting, but in the morning when they are let out she would get up, and go outside.

i have a lamp even in the summer if the chicks get chilled.

Yeah we have one so i guess we'll figure a way to hang it above the silkie
