When an egg is fertilized it releases a hormone that in humans most often insures a single egg is fertilized. In goats, that hormone is not as strong and you may have 2-4 paternal twins. If two bucks are fathering babies, those bucks need to breed the doe wham bam quick, before the previous sperm deposited can fertilize the egg(s). BUT if one buck has slow swimmers, and the other has great swimmers, it can happen more easily.
