Breeding Question

I am just starting to breed seramas and I have a question. I am wanting to breed toward the SOP in order to in-cage show, but I would also like to show in table top. Since I am going to breed towards the SOP, how do I breed towards a specific color variety or two without "draining" the fun out of seramas?

I do not mean a 'just for fun' flock. I mean how to a breed without breeding the.... it's hard to explain....the 'not breeding true-ness' out of them.

You can't. Breeding true is part of standardized colors.

So you can't use birds that are bred towards the SOP for TT?
