Breeding Question

In my flock of 9, I have only 1 rooster, which is a silkie (by the way, he is not mean or aggressive at all...just a laid back sweetheart). I really want him to breed with my naked-neck turken hen. He tries sometimes, but she will not let him. She runs for her life every time. I tried to put them together in a large dog crate, but she screamed and jumped frantically whenever he got close to her. I stopped doing that because I don't want her to injure herself in the crate. Is there anything I can do to make this process happen? Any technique or strategy to use?

My turken is a year and a half old (and a great layer!). Yeah I was starting to think she won't ever squat for him. I was just hoping I could change that somehow. Maybe play some Barry White music while they're together? LOL

I'd like it to happen, but it's not a big deal if it doesn't. It's au naturale or nothing!
