So a few weeks ago i emailed Kevin Porter. I asked what would i get if i bred my turkeys then listed all the combinations. Well i really want to get bourbon red so to do that i need my red bronze tom and mate my golden narri hen. Well, the red bronze tom isnt dominant so i have those 2 separated but i just saw my Red Palm breed one of my hens, either a bronze or golden narri. I couldnt see which hen it was but if it was the golden narri what should i do since she can have fertile eggs from him for up to 15 days? If my red bronze gobbler would breed her, would there still be a chance the Red Palm would fertilize her instead of the Red Bronze in this 15 day period?
I just separated them and they are staying that way until i get my desired eggs.
