Breeding Question

I have all my chickens together, I was wondering if I take all my silkies and separate them from the bantam's rooster/hens. How long will it take for them to breed with one another and know for sure that the eggs I collect will be for that particular breed, how long will I know that this egg is a silkies egg and that egg is a bantam egg? Instead of now, where when i find an egg, I have no clue if it came from a silkie or a bantam.

I think hens can store sperm for 2 weeks, so I would wait 3 weeks to be on the safe side

I waited a full 3 weeks last spring - the first egg collected and hatched was a mix. This spring, I'm giving them 4 weeks - better safe than sorry.
