So I’ve bred some Easter Eggers in the past an Ameraucana hen and austorlorp roo and had a few almost silver laced speckled color babies well now I want to breed for color with my Ameraucana hens and roo I have had some for a while they died and I recently got more one was a real pretty blue wheaten and the roo was a buff. Punnet squares are easy but I’m more of a horse person sooo chicken breeding isn’t my strong suit.
How do you know what you will get color wise?
Ive been researching and not much has come up.

I’m so confused I don’t know if this is even the right thing

I find this website helpful, especially if you click on the pick colour from list part up the top which will allow you to pick colours, rather than the gene at every locus. There isn't ablue wheaten choice though there is blue salmon which may be the smae genes by a different name if someone who knows more can help?

Blue salmon isn't the same as blue wheaten.
For blue wheaten just find wheaten and go down Bl blue and change it to Bl/bl+ blue (andalusian)
