Breeding Sapphire Gems

New to chickens, but have always wanted my own little flock. I picked up 13 Sapphire Gem pullets from the local hardware store. My question is this...since I have read that you cannot breed gems to gems What do I order to breed my pullets to, in order to keep my chicks true Sapphire Gems when I hatch them?

If you want a blue colored bird that breeds true, perhaps the Andalusian would interest you.
