Breeding Silver Pied to Blue Pied...

There is only a limited amount of white that Blue Pieds can be breed to have. But when breeding Silver Pieds to Blue Pieds, I get a lot more white on the Blue Pied. Anyone else have that experience?

When breeding Silver pieds to blue pieds, you get more white because you actually end up with a Blue Pied White eyed. Since Silver Pieds carry two copies of the white eyed gene, they pass one copy on to all offspring, no matter what they are bred to. The white eyed gene tends to enhance the amount of white on a pied bird.
