I have a hen that is currently showing signs of going broody soon. She is with her rooster but if she does go broody I'd like the father to be one of my other roosters. If I put her with the other rooster how long will they need to be together to ensure he is the one she's bred with and not her other roo she has been with?

If she's going broody you won't get eggs from her to hatch. They'd have to come from another hen.
Why not?
Isn't that how it works?
Hen lays eggs. Hen decides to go broody. Hen lays enough for a clutch. Hen starts setting. Hen hatches chicks.
Believe hens have been hatching their own eggs since they've been around.

The OP said the hen was already showing signs of brooding. I took this as she is currently sitting. Mine don't lay eggs once they start to set.

I see.
When you said "you won't get eggs from her to hatch."
You meant you won't get eggs from her. Not that you won't get eggs from her that are hatchable.
That was a thought of mine was whether you could keep her laying long enough to get a clutch.
OP didn't say she was brooding or even broody but that she was "currently showing signs of going broody soon."
Not sure what that means. Mine never give me an advanced notice.

All my hens show signs before they decide to brood. Which is they are grumpy, they don't want the other birds from the flock to be around them and they screech as if they already have chicks, they sit on the nest after they lay for a long period of time (hours) then they get up and walk around clucking and protecting non existent chicks. After about a few weeks of this behavior they find a spot to nest and it begins. It's happened with all my hens so I know the signs of when they are going broody. I currently have 3 now showing these signs so it's only a matter of time. 2 of these have been mama hens before and one is a newbie but she is doing the same thing the other girls do.
