So i am a chicken beginner. I have a question. So i have a black australorp rooster, and a buff Orpington hen and i am wondering what kind of breed of chicken will i mostly get out of theese two can yall send me pictures

You would get a cross breed. I believe black is dominant so the chicks would mostly be black but you might get some of mixed colors or buff.

Australorps and orpingtons are breeds themselves. Crossing the 2 will give you a crossbred progeny that may resemble both parental breeds. In crossing black and buff with any birds, black is genetically dominant to buff so the progeny will be black, or possibly black with buff leakage, or perhaps some other mix of colors depending on what other genetics the parents may carry.

However, the mix breeds should be pretty vigorous, and fair layers. Each time you cross, though, you get more variation, more genes mixed, and generally over multiple generations you loose either size of the birds or number of eggs produced or both.

Thanks for all the information you gave me
